Position Summary:
CEI is seeking a highly skilled and decisive Wholesale Market Trading Manager to lead the management and execution of wholesale power and fuel transactions across the Southeast and adjacent regions. This role is crucial for optimizing the CEI portfolio, minimizing costs, ensuring reliable dispatch, and actively expanding the company’s market reach. The Manager will be responsible for essential natural gas hedging strategies and providing expert support to power scheduling and middle office functions.

Manage Cooperative Energy Inc. (CEI)’s responsibilities for load forecasting, energy planning, wholesale power cost budgeting, and scenario analysis. Lead the development and maintenance of complex modelling used for evaluation of wholesale power contracts including capacity, energy, and operational requirements. Lead the development of Wholesale Power Cost budgets, forecasts, and variance reports. Create routine and ad hoc financial, operational, and power supply related reports for internal and external purposes. Support front office staff with the maintenance of data and report development, as required.
